Herman Harold Collins, 71, of Coeburn, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Norton Community Hospital surrounded by his beloved wife and children.

Born January 20, 1953 to the late Carl and Martha Gibson Collins he was a coal miner and a friend to many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kermit Collins, Nelson Collins, Terry Sexton, Buddy Boy and Big Buddy; sisters, Margie Ward, Beula Williams, Maxie Ramey and Bernice Cox; great grandchildren, Baby Hobbs and Baby Rodriguez.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mary Collins; daughters, Chris (Lee) Collins of Coeburn, VA, Felisha (Curtis) Woods of Dryden, VA, Renee (Brian) Clark of Coeburn, VA, Tonya (Joey) Hobbs of Coeburn, VA, Whitney (Dan) Adkins of Coeburn, VA, and Kylee (Aaliyah) Greear of Coeburn, VA; sons, Junior Collins of Coeburn, VA and Cody Collins of Coeburn, VA; sisters, Brenda (Cleophas) Mullins, Betty Ann (Danny) Sluss and Patsy Branham; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends; special friends, David Collins, Ronald Collins and Baldie.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Estes Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Donald Tucker and Harrison Mullins officiating.  Committal services will be private.
