Coeburn, VA ~ Ida Belle Edwards Davis, 103, died Wednesday, June 28, 2000 at Dickenson County Medical Center in Clintwood, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Luther Davis, 3 sons, Charlie Davis, Earl Davis and Howard Davis; a daughter, Virginia Davis; her parents, Robert H. and Annie Helen Kilgore Bond Edwards; 5 sisters, Dove Rose, Emma Meade, Sarah Farmer, Martha Lawson and Alice Edwards; 3 brothers, Hobert Edwards, Clinton Edwards and George Edwards.
Survivors include 2 sons, Hershel Davis and Hoyt D. Davis both of Coeburn, VA, a sister, Maxie Tunnell of Coeburn, VA; 3 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; several nephews, several nieces.
Funeral services for Ida Belle Davis will be held Saturday, July 1, 2000 at 11:00 A.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leslie Ritchie will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Coeburn. Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Friday after 5:00 P.M.
