James Edward Austin, better known as "Buddy" age 81, of Coeburn died at his home on Wednesday July 7, 2021

James was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Addington Austin, his father, Lacey Austin, and his mother, Bonnie Hill Austin.

James is survived by four sons; Steven Paul Austin and wife Tasha of Moultrie, Georgia, Jerry Lee Austin of Rogersville, Tennessee, Michael Austin of Gate City, Virginia, Timothy Austin of Grundy, Virginia; a daughter, Casandra Austin of Coeburn,

Virginia; two grandchildren, Danielle Austin and fiance' Brock of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Madelyn Austin and husband Tyson Krueg of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

James and Sharon left their mark on many lives through fostering many children and adoption. James was a forklift operator for Fornia Furniture Company in St. Paul, Virginia

The family will receive friends on Monday July 12, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow.
