Dungannon, VA ~ James "Jimmy" Darel Ritchie, 35, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 7, 2001 at his residence in Dungannon, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis "Cotton" Ritchie.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn V. Ritchie, his mother, Janice Ritchie Farmer; stepfather, James Ray Farmer; Beaver Ritchie (Son) of Dungannon, VA and 2 other Daughters & 1 Son; 2 brothers, Larry Ritchie & Johnny Farmer both of Coeburn; 1 sister, Susie Ely, Coeburn; grandfather, Bill Farmer, Coeburn; several nephews & several nieces.

Funeral services for James Darel Ritchie will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bob Plaster will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Edwards Cemetery in Coeburn. Visitation will be at Estes Funeral Home on Tuesday after 6:00 P.M.
