James E. Rogers, 77, of Coeburn, VA, entered into rest December 20, 2023 at his residence after an illness.

Born in Wilmington, NC, he was a son of the late Ervin and Dorothy Dean Rogers.  James was a veteran of the US Army and served in Korea during the Korean Conflict. After completing his military service obligation, James was employed by General Electric and retired with nearly 30 years of service.

Surviving are: His wife, Linda Rogers of Coeburn, VA; daughter, Amber (John) Craddock of Wilmington, NC; Step mother, Louise Rogers of Wilmington, NC.

James will be laid to rest at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, TN at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 26, 2023 with Military Honors.
