James "Jimbo" Wayne Sluss, of Coeburn VA, has passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 4, 2021, at the age of 42.

James will forever be remembered as a kind, loving, hardheaded, wild soul, who would do anything for the ones he loved.

James is survived by; three daughters, Desirae Marie Porter and her husband Christopher Austin Porter of Coeburn, VA, Brianna Marie Sluss of Kingsport, TN, Lindsey Nikole Sluss of Kingsport, TN; a son James Thomas Blake Sluss of Johnson City, TN; his mother Nadine Ruth Lundy Mann of Coeburn, VA; two brothers Richard Routheaux of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jesse Sluss of Coeburn, VA.

James is preceded in death by his father James Franklin Sluss and life partner Elicia "Lee Lee" Akers.

James will be cremated, and a memorial service will be announced for a date determined in October.
