Coeburn, VA ~ James "Jim" Milford Surgener, 85 went to be with his Lord Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Wellmount Mountain View Medical Center in Norton, Virginia.
He ran the race and finished his course and kept the faith.
He went home to be with his Lord and Saviour and his beloved Mother and his loving wife, Rita.
Brother Jimmy attended the Banner Revival Center. He was a Missionary and a minister of the Gospel.
His message was heard around the world. He did radio and TV ministery and wrote several books as he was inspired of the Lord.
Brother Jimmy loved the old hymms as they were sung. The Lord has been so good to me. His word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be as long as life endures and now as his path has ended here.

He was the son of the late Aurban Estie Surgener and Willie Surgener;also preceded in death by his wife, Rita Hargraves Surgener.

Visitation for Brother Jimmy will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 12 Noon til service time. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Bates and Pastor R.L. Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at 3: 00 PM at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA.
