Pound, VA ~ Janice Bernetta Childers, 54, passes away Friday, November 23, 2012 at Mountain View Medical Center in Norton Virginia.
Preceeded in death by her father, Daniel Howard Phillips and a daughter, Christina.
Survivors include her mother, Francis Pauline Phillips, Coeburn; a son, James Ray Childers; sisters, Linda Boggs, Pound, Carol Gentry, Big Stone Gap, Kathy Brickey, Dungannon, and Caterina Phillips, Coeburn; brothers, Roger Phillips, Pound, and Danny Phillips, Big Stone Gap; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Janice Childers will be held after 6:00 P.M. Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel and funeral service will be at 7:00 P.M. with Mia Brickey officiating. Burial will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, VA.
