Indiantown, FL ~ Jerry W. Freeman, 54, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2003 at in Indiantown, FL as the result of an auto accident.
He was born and raised in the Norton, Coeburn and Kingsport area, but had lived in FL for the past 15 years. He was an honorary member of the V.F.W. and Martin Co Sheriff Dept. Assoc. in FL.
Also a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and recipient of a Bronze Star and Purple Heart medal.
His father, Troy Freeman, Sr., preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Maryann Freeman; his mother, Martha Freeman, 3 sons, Jerry W. Freeman, Boone, NC, Jerry Freeman, Mt. Carmel, TN and Troy Freeman, Indiantown, FL; 2 daughters, Tabitha Freeman, Indiantown, FL and Amanda Freeman, Kingsport, TN; 2 brothers, Troy Freeman, Jr., Coeburn, VA and Terry Freeman, Blountville, TN; 4 sisters, Virginia Freeman and Mattie Cain both of Palm City, FL, Sharon Hale, Coeburn, VA and Helen Artrip, Vale, NC; aunt, Clifford Williams, Coeburn, VA and uncle, Quentin Freeman, FL; 2 Grandchildren.

Visitation for Jerry Webster Freeman will be held Sunday, December 21, 2003 from 10 AM - 2 PM and funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Noland Stanley officiating.Burial will be in the Pine Grove Community Cemetery in Coeburn.
