Coeburn, VA ~ Jimmy Walter Minton, 81 passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at his residence in Coeburn, Virginia.
He was the son of the late Sam Minton and Allie (Lottie) Charlotte Dingus Minton; also preceded in death by his wife, Ethylene Edwards Minton; two brothers, Aaron Minton and Bobby Minton; three sisters, Valice Blevins, Betty Hodges and Lena Minton; a granddaughter, Charolleta Autum Collins.
Survivors include two sons, James Wayne Minton and wife Lolita Wheatley Minton, Norton and Daniel Minton of Missouri; six daughters, Anna Minton and husband, Johnny, Huron, OH, Marchelle Minton Greear and husband, Ray, Sonya Powers and husband, Shane, Tonya Minton Lawson, Coeburn and husband, Kenny, Heather Minton, all of Coeburn, and Tina Lynn Minton Collins, and husband, Greg, Pound; brother, Johnny Minton, Huron, OH; five sisters, Mary Elizabeth Foster, Francis Burita "Rita" Mitchell, Maxie Laney, and Nancy Jane Crawford, all of Coeburn, and Ann Wallace , Marion, OH; 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren,several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
