John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John Cornelius Horne, 62, of Coeburn, VA, went to be with the Lord Monday, February 5, 2024. He was born October 7, 1961 in Norton, VA, to the late Cornelius and Eliza Horne.

John was a lifelong resident of Wise County and worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He would make people laugh with his funny jokes and everyone that knew him loved him. He really enjoyed and loved his model trains and camping. He loved driving through the mountains and seeing the beauty surrounding him.

John leaves behind several friends and his neighbors who he loved and they loved and will miss him dearly.

"John I know you are smiling down on us from Heaven."

Services for John are private and will be held by Estes Funeral Home of Coeburn, VA.
