Coeburn, VA ~ John Wesley Smith, Jr., 78 Passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City Tennessee.
He was the son of the late John Wesley Smith and Lora Letha Smith; also preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Estep; seven brothers, Elmer Smith, Delmar Smith, Munford Smith, Freddie Smith, Bobby Smith, David Ancil Smith, and Donnie Joe Smith; 1 great grandchild.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Anna Lou Smith, Coeburn; Daughters, Lora Ward, Donna (Michael) Whisenhunt, all of Coeburn and Teresa Miller, Wise; son, Timothy (Tammy) Smith, Dryden; sister, Lois Irene Marshall, Castlewood; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services for John Wesley Smith will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Vernon Scarberry officiating. Burial will follow at Temple Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
