Coeburn, VA ~JoyceLanell "Joy" Richardson Gleason, 80 died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at her residence in Coeburn Virginia.
She was the daugher of the late Stewart and Rosa HughesRichardson. Also preceeded in death by 2 sisters, Wilma Hale and Thelma Stallard; 3 brothers, Bruce, Willie and Comer Richardson.
Survivors include her husband, James Gleason; a son, William E. Odle , Dallas, TX; Grandson, William E. Odle, Jr., Baltimore, MD; brother, Charlie Ray Richardson, Abingdon, VA; two special friends, Linda and Judy Chaffin and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Joyce Lanell "Joy" Gleason will be held at Estes Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 5, 2006,after 6:00 P.M. and funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM. with Rev. R.L. Crawford officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens in Coeburn, Friday, October 6, 2006, at 11:00 A.M. Arrangements are being handled by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave. NE, Coeburn, VA.
