Kay (Glenda) Buchanan, age 58, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, January, 21st, 2021.

Kay was a devoted grandmother who loved her grandchildren with all of her heart. She was a member of Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Albie and Alva Rose.

She is survived by her Daughter: Melissa (Alan) Rutherford; 2 Brothers: Kenneth (Dinah) Rose and Randall (Gi) Rose; 2 Sisters: Ethel Rose and Louise (Kermit) Harvey; Special Twin Sister: Linda Lee (Bruce) Stidham; Special nieces and nephews who were like children; Michelle Baker, Josh Lee, Lindsey Massey and Katie Stidham; 4 Grandchildren: Cole (Tori) Rutherford, Grant (Hannah) Rutherford, Olivia Rutherford and Andrew Rutherford; 2 Great-grandchildren: Hudson Rutherford and Owen Rutherford; Several nieces and nephews; and a faithful four-legged companion, Buffy.

A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, January, 26th, 2021 at the Estes Funeral Home Chapel where visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with services to begin at 6:00pm. With clergyman Willie Stanley officiating.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the Hamilton Cemetery (Hamilton Town Section of Coeburn, VA)

Estes Funeral Home will be serving the Buchanan family.
