Bud McConnell – Coeburn, VA

Kyle "Bud" McConnell, 88, Coeburn, VA passed away, Monday, June 27, 2022, at his residence.

Bud was born in Coeburn, VA on July 2, 1933, and was the son of the late Joe and Lola (McConnell) McConnell.

He was retired from Virginia Iron and Coal Company.

In addition to his parents, his sons, Kyle Eugene McConnell and Patrick Joseph McConnell, sisters, June Reed and Patty Edwards, and brothers, Jay McConnell, Joe "Oce" McConnell, Billy McConnell, and Eddie McConnell preceded him in death.

Surviving is his loving wife, Naida Ruth McConnell, daughters, Donna McFadden and husband, Daniel, and Gina Grizzle and husband, Richard, sons, Ricky McConnell and wife, Patsy, and Michael McConnell and wife, Anninita, Phillip Davis and wife, Courtney, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters, Barbara Sue Alley, Darlene Hayes, and Charlene Hampton and husband, David, brothers, Lowell "Hoot" McConnell, and Guy "Sandy" McConnell, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Estes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Estes Funeral Home with Pastor R. L. Crawford of Banner Revival Center, and Pastor David Hall officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Greenwood Acres, Coeburn, VA. His sons and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
