Lee Roy Collins – Coeburn, VA

Lee Roy "Bones" Collins, 72, entered into rest Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA. He was born July 23, 1950, to the late Levi Collins and Ethel Osborne in Coeburn, VA. He retired as a coal miner, he enjoyed fishing and loved working with his tractor.

Left behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 52 years, Kay Collins of the home; son, Stacy Collins of Coeburn, VA; daughters, Treva Adkins, Emely Josey, and Sandy Collins all of Coeburn, VA; grandchildren, Dustin (Kayla) Adkins, Marshal Collins, Hunter Moore, and Savanah Collins; great-grandchildren, Parker Collins and Radlee Adkins; his special brother and friend, Leon Collins , Ernie Collins and Allen Collins; sisters, Louise Castle, Pauline Gibson, and Shelby Wallace; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation for Lee Roy will be Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 12:00pm, with Bro. Jibber Ward and Dustin Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Collins Family Cemetery in Coeburn, VA.
