Lillian Greear – Coeburn, VA
Lillian "Lil" Greear, 93, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. She was a retired seamstress from Buster Brown sewing factory. Lillian was born in Clinchfield, VA, May, 17, 1928, to the late Harry and Magdalena Collins.
Along with her parents, Lil was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Greear; two sons, Kenneth Ray Greear and Estil Eugene Greear; two grandsons Jonathan Patrick Greear and Michael Lee Jessee; two sisters Lucille Beare and Pauline Adams.
Lillian is survived by sons, Earnest P Greear Jr of Coeburn, Claude Anthony "Tony" (Linda) Greear of Wise, Michael (Patty) Greear of Dungannon; grandchildren, Angela (David) Feller, Regina (Tony) Campbell, David (Kimberley) Greear, Stephen Greear, Tina (Chad) French, Patricia (Wally) Meredith; eleven great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at Estes Funeral Home with funeral service following at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Brandon White officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., Greenwood Acres in Coeburn, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please send donations in her honor to Friendship Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1895, Coeburn, VA 24230.
