Lois Fay Markham, 97, Coeburn, VA, went to her heavenly home, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Heritage Hall Nursing in Wise, VA. She was born in Coeburn, VA, on August 12, 1925, to the late Robert and Grace Rose McReynolds. She worked as a Telephone Operator for many years.

Along with her parents, Robert and Grace, she is preceded in death by her son, Justin Cole Markham; brothers, Alger and John David McReynolds.

She leaves behind to cherish her love and memories her son, Royce Markham and wife, Peggy of Coeburn, VA; grandchildren, Samantha Markham Cary and husband, Adam of Texas, Brandy Markham of Texas, and Nathan Markham and wife, Cheryl of California; great-grandchildren, Anthony Markham and wife, Shaynna of California; great-great-grandchildren, Mariska and Harper Markham; sister, Isabelle Brooks of Nashville, TN; brother, Ted McReynolds of Kingsport, TN; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Services for Lois are private. She will be laid to rest at Greenwood Acres Cemetery in Coeburn, VA.
