Coeburn, VA ~ Malcolm Tirrell Courtney, 16, died Saturday, February 9, 2002 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia.
Mr. Courtney was a student at Coeburn High School and a member of the Tabernacle of Testimony in Coeburn.
His grandfather Rev. Hagan Sexton preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia Marlene Sexton; a brother, Michael Antwan Courtney, Coeburn; Maternal Grandmother, Shirley Sexton, Coeburn, Paternal Grandmother, Carrie Banks, Coeburn and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Malcolm Tirrell Courtney will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Dearry & Evangelist Kay Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Coeburn. Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Sunday and Monday after 6:00 P.M.
