Margaret Mae Dickenson, 87, of Coeburn, VA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, peacefully at her residence.  Born in Hawkins County, TN, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Nora Way Amyx and was a homemaker. She was a member and attended Maytown Tabernacle Church in Coeburn, VA.

In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was the father of her children, Herbert Hoover Skeens; her husband, Billy Dickenson; siblings, Frank, Ray, Carl, John, Dan, Fred, Joyce, Ann and Louise.

Surviving are her sons, Herbert Allen Skeens and wife, Tammy of Coeburn, Johnny Skeens of Kingsport, TN; daughter, Teresa Ellis and husband, Robert of Coeburn; brother, Ralph Amyx and wife Peggy of TN; grandchildren, Crystal Sturgill and husband, Mark of Norton VA, Terri Woods and husband, Michael of Norton VA, Nicki Hensley and husband, Josh of Gate City VA, Casey Skeens of Louisville, KY and Dustin Cooke of Coeburn; great-grandchildren, Bailey Sturgill, Kylee Sturgill, Griffin Woods, Hunter Gillenwater, Trevor Gillenwater, Finley Hensley, James Dye, Jayden Boatwright, Mason Cooke, Joel Cooke and Hartley Cooke.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Estes Funeral Home with funeral services to be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Alvin Meade and Jason Collins officiating. Special music will be provided by Kayla Collins.  Committal services will follow at Dickenson Cemetery on Sawmill Hollow in Pound, VA.
