Coeburn, VA ~ Margaret Ellen Hicks Farmer, 63 died Friday, December 14, 2007 at her residence in Coeburn Virginia.
She was secretary/treasurer of Coeburn VFW Post# 8652 Ladies Auxillary
Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother and always put others in front of herself. She will be truly missed by all.
She was preceeded in death by her father, George Wilson Hicks andbrother, Bob Hicks.
Survivors include Mother-June Hicks, Banner, VA, one daughter, Christie Ann Farmer, Clintwood;TwoSons, Steve Farmer, and wife, Sherry, Abingdon, VA and David A. Farmer and wife, Angela, Coeburn, OneSister, Nancy "Tidy" Lawson, Wise; One Brother, James W. Hicks, Coeburn; grandsons, Dustin Farmer, Cory Farmer, Harley Farmer, Colby Farmer; granddaughter, Haley Farmer;soon to be blessed with a great grandson, Brayden Farmer; Two Special Friends, Mary Powers and Penny Little; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Margaret Farmer will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 17, 2007 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with James Lawson officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens in Coeburn, VA. visitation will be held after 6 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Family and Nephews. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home,114 High Ave. NE, Coeburn.
