Coeburn, VA ~ Marie Massie Amburgey, 83 passed awaySaturday, November 12, 2011 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport Tennessee.
She was the daughter of the late McKinley Massey and Ruby Collins Massey.
She is survived by her husband, Jona Amburgey; one daughter, Linda Freeman, (Troy) Coeburn; son, Robert Amburgey (Patsy), Coeburn; three sisters, Jeraldine Ring and Corine Massey, both of Coeburn and Wilma Cloud, Huron, OH; one brother, Darst Massey, Rogersville, TN; one granddaughter, Andrese Funk (Wesley), Coeburn; two step-granddaughters, Samantha Mitchell (Maurice), Indian Trail, NC and Melissa Robinson (Donald), Coeburn; to great grandchildren, Cody and Chloe Funk, Coeburn, two step great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Makayla Robinson, Coeburn.

Visitation for Marie Dorothy Amburgey will be held on Monday November 14, 2011 after 5:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel and funeral services will be held at 7:00 PMwith Rev. Nolan Stanley and Rev. R. L. Crawford officiating. Entombment will be 1 PM, Tuesday November 15, 2011 at Temple Hill Memorial Park. The family will meet at the funeral home and leave in procession at 12:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to Pippin Chapel, 11618 DC Caney ridge Road, Coeburn, VA 24230.
