Coeburn, VA ~ Marie Prilhart Bessie Adkins, 74 died Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland E. "Baldy" Adkins; parents, James D. and Nancy Kay Hicks Prilhart Collins; two sons, Darrell and Terry Lynn Adkins; daughter Martha Ann Adkins; brother, Fred Prilhart; sisters, Darlene and Analee Prilhart.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Myers, Wesley Chapel, FL; one son, Darris Adkins, Coeburn; Four Sisters, Helen Wampler, Fort Worth, TX, Frances Campbell, Coeburn, Betty Moore, Bristol, TN, Brenda Prilhart; Three Brothers, Carl Collins, and Kenneth Collins both of Coeburn and Homer Prilhart, Kingsport, TN; Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Marie B. Adkins will be Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM. with Rev. Curtis Bond and Brother Bruce Beverly officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens in Coeburn. Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Estes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
