Coeburn, VA ~ Marvin Marion Perry, 86 went to be with his Lord Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Mountain View Medical Center in Norton Virginia.
He was a retired employee of C & P Telephone in Norton and a US Navy veteran of WW II.
He was the son of the late Floyd and Lilly Mae Perry; also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Helen and second wife, Jewel.
Survivors include two daughters, Marian Davis, and husband Johnnie, Diane Porter, and husband Bill all of Coeburn; two step-daughters, Dorothy Lawson and husband, Ronnie, Coeburn and Kathy Sturgill and husband Greg, Vinton, VA; one brother, Pete Perry, Texas; Grandchildren, Richard Porter and wife Rene, Kelly Porter, Jane Dotten, Jonathan Davis and wife, Lauren , Daniel Davis and wife, Mandy, Missy Lawson, Amy Bright and husband, Kevin. He also had several great-grandchildren, John Hall III, Tyler and Ean Bright, Sean and Aaron Sturgill and Summer and Shawn Meade; also has a very special pal 'Mandy Austin'.

Visitationfor Marvin Marion Perry will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2010 after 5:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home and funeral serviceswill be held at 7:00 PMwith Rev. Leslie Ritchieofficiating. Burial will be Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens. Coeburn VFW will furnish military graveside rites. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn, VA.
