Mary Ellen Castle

Mary Ellen (Earnis) Castle, 73, Castlewood, VA passed away, Friday, April 11, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Norton, VA on March 8, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Palmer B. and Ella Ruth (Vaughn) Earnis, Sr.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Bobby Gene Castle, brother, Palmer Earnis, Jr., sister, Rosie Elizabeth Qualls, and a stepson, Scotty Castle preceded her in death.

She is survived by her siblings, William Bradley Earnis, Phillip Lee Earnis and wife, Lakie, Albert Henry Earnis and wife, Linda, and Patricia Anne Earnis, her special friend, Linda Grizzle, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Temple Hill Memorial Gardens, Castlewood, VA, in the Chapel of Love.

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at Temple Hill at 10:45 a.m. for the graveside service.
