Coeburn, VA ~ Mary Ellen Lawson Bruner, 70 passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia.
She was the daughter of the late Alma Ileen Barrowman Lawson and Raymond Lawson, also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Ann Bruner.
She is survived by her husband, David Bruner, Coeburn; one daughter, April Simms and husband, Joe, Rural Retreat; one brother, Wayne Lawson and wife, Anita, Wise; 2 granddaughters, Kenzie and Kylie; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Mary Ellen Bruner will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 7:30 PM at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stacy Vanover and Brother Les Ritchie officiating. The family will meet at the cemetery for burial at 11:00 A.M Monday, August 6, 2018 at Temple Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home until service time. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
