Mary Ruth Florence Morgan Odle, a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed on February 10, 2022, at the age of 95.

Ruth was born in Coeburn, Virginia on May 15, 1926, to Mary Estelle and Elmer Morgan. The sparkle in her eye came from the joy of her being a caregiver to her family. She enjoyed crocheting, watching television, and spending time with her ever-growing family. She was a devoted member of the Coeburn community and previously owned and operated Odle Family Grocery with her late husband, Duard Odle. Ruth will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Ruth was preceded by her mother, Mary Estelle Nichols Morgan; father, Elmer Morgan; brothers, JP, John, Carl, and Frank Morgan; husband, Duard Wythe Odle; son in law, Donald Adkins; daughter in law, Phyllis Hughes Odle; one grandson, Donald Ray; along with one great-grandson Tanner Odle.

Ruth is survived by her loving children, Charlotte Adkins, Charles Odle (Sylvia), Larry Odle, and Danny Odle (Joyce); dedicated sister, Helen Hagy; grandchildren, Revina Payette (Walter), Douglas Adkins (Cindi), Charles Odle Jr. (Tommy), Jason Odle, Larry Odle Jr. (Tanya), Patrina Martin (Adam), Neil Smith (Missy), Danny Odle Jr. (Tanya), Rita Mullins (Bobby), Crystal Odle; 16 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; Granddaughter-in law Linda Adkins; along with several other close relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will be held following at 7:00p.m. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00a.m. Sunday, February 13, 2022, in Greenwood Acres Cemetery, Coeburn, VA. Family and friends will meet at the Cemetery for the graveside service.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
