Mary Elizabeth Stallard, 67, of Coeburn, VA entered into rest on June 16, 2024 at her residence after an illness.

Born in Wise County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Luther Martin Barnette and Geneva Hughes Lawson and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Stallard; a sister, Barbara Ann Edwards; brothers, Gary Martin Barnette, Jackie Dwayne Barnette and Charles Edward Barnette.

Survivors include her companion of 14 years, James "Jimmy" Hockman  and her son, Marvin Lynn Stallard and family.

As per Mary's wishes, there will be no formal services at this time, but a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
