Coeburn, VA ~ Maxie Marie Edwards Tunnell, 94 passed away Friday, January 25, 2008 at Mountain View Medical Center in Norton Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Tunnell; parents, Robert H. and Annie Missouri Kilgore Edwards; sisters, Ida Bell Davis. Dove Rose, Emma Meade, Sarah Farmer and Alice Edwards; brothers, Hobert Edwards, George Edwards and Clinton Edwards.
Survivors include a nephew, Larry B. Farmer, Norfolk, VA; Step-Son,Hubert Tunnell, Pound and Herby Tunnell, Coeburn; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Maxie Tunnell will be held 11:00 AM. Tuesday, Jan, 29, 2008 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Millard Laney officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens in Coeburn. Visitation will be held after 6:00 P.M. Monday, January 28, 2008 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel.
