Michael Steven Smith, 63, of Dungannon, VA entered into rest March 1, 2024 at his residence in Scott County, VA. He was born June 8, 1960, in Norton, VA, to Delmer Smith and Shirley Williams.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Delmer Smith; sister, Beverly Garrett; brother-in-law, Roger Garrett.

He leaves behind his sons, Michael Steven Smith, JR., and Roger James Smith; mother, Shirley Williams of Norton, VA; niece, Christy Garrett; nephew, Rod Garrett; three grandchildren, Cody, Caleb, and Cara; brother, Jr Smith; several aunts and uncles; many extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, VA, Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 2:30 pm with Wayne Hager officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:30 for the service.
