Nancy Roberts Craft, 48, of Kingsport, TN, entered into her heavenly home on Sunday, November 24, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Nancy was born on December 11, 1970 in Wise, VA to the late Gordon "Buster" Roberts and the late Evelyn Daugherty Roberts.
A loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend, Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to new places and experiencing life. She had a huge heart and could see beauty in the simplest of things. She adored and was proud of her children and grandson. Nancy had a great love for laughter and enjoyed the humorous banter that was sure to arise at family gatherings. And, against the advice of many, Nancy was an avid UT fan! No matter what you called her, Nancy, Nan, Sissy Nan or Lady, she was loved and will be missed.
Along with her husband, Buddy Craft of Kingsport, TN, Nancy is survived by her children; Jacob Aaron VanWinkle of Lafollette, TN, Emily VanWinkle Reed (Waylon) of Morristown, TN, and Brandon White of Kingsport, TN; step-daughter, Ericka Craft, Kingsport, TN; grandson, Benjamin Reed of Morristown, TN; brother, Terry Roberts (Brenda) of Lexington, KY; sister, Carolyn "Cookie" Wilson (Bobby) of Wise, VA; brother, Tommy "Hoss" Roberts (Laura Craft) of Big Stone Gap, VA; brother, Chris Roberts (Rhonda) of Winchester, VA; very special niece, Audrionna Wells, of Big Stone Gap, VA; and a host of other family members. Along with her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her sister, Laura Roberts Mullins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Guest River Pentecostal Church, Norton, VA at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Darrell Bolling officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 6:00 p.m. until service time. A private burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Gray Cemetery in Norton, VA. Active pallbearers: Bobby Wilson, Patrick Roberts, Christopher Wilson, Matthew Mullins, Waylon Reed, Cameron Wells, Hunter Roberts. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
