Norton, VA ~ Noah Hagmon Thacker, Sr., 99 passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Heritage Hall Health Care Center in Wise, Virginia.

He was the son of the late Volley Thacker and Rose Thacker; also preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Anderson Thacker, and a daughter, Joanne Hensley and several other family members.

Survivors include daughters, Gennett Strength, Murfeesboro, TN, Charlene Jackson, Norton, and Nina Buchanan, Coeburn; sons, Noah H. Thacker, Jr. and wife, Virginia and Lynn Thacker and wife, Lena all of Norton and Steven Thacker and wife, Kathy, Knoxville, TN; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial for Noah Hagmon Thacker will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Laurel Grove Cemetery with Rev. Mike Lawson officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home and then will proceed to the cemetery. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
