Ova Malissia Strouth Bevins, 90, of Vinton, formerly of Coeburn passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 at her home in Vinton, VA.
She attended Coeburn Methodist Church, Davis Chapel and Charlie's Chapel Church. She was a member of Coeburn Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #153 for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Bevins; her parents, EddStrouth andDoshia Lane Strouth; sisters, Glettie Strouth, Celia Kilbourne and Louetta Jones; brothers, Wayne Strouth and Doug Strouth and great granddaughter, Anna Franks.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Foster, and husband, Eugene,Vinton, VA andRecca Presnell and husband, Jerry; sisters, Eleanor Hall and husband,Charles;brothers, Vinson "Lucky" Strouth, and wife, Reba, Fletcher Strouth, and wife, Jean, Kenneth Strouth, and wife, Evelyn, Philmon Strouth, and wife, Phyllis, Lawrence "Buck" Strouth, and wife, Pat and sisters-in-law, Shirley Strouth and Jean Strouth; Also surviving are grandchildren, Lisa Franks and husband, Bert, Dori Exline and husband, Kelly, Stephen Foster and wife, Carla and Kevin Foster and wife, Nicole; nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 after 5:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday,April 15, 2010 at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with PastorClifford Bevins officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens.
