Patty Anne Thompson, 66, of Coeburn, VA entered in with her Lord and Savior, Friday, May 22, 2026 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA. She was born June 19, 1959 to the late Charles and Virginia Harbin in Wise County, VA. Patty was know for her love of her pets and all the animals. She always noted "I'm a coalminers daughter". She loved her family and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, Patty is preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Harbin, Carolyn Williams, and Barbara Ann Harbin.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Lawrence Thompson of the home; sons, Travis Lee Thompson (Sherri) of Coeburn, VA and Elvis Aaron Thompson (Tammy) of Richlands, VA; sister, Margie Herron (Jerry) of Norton, VA; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation for Patty will be Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 11:00am to 12:00pm in the chapel of Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will be at 12:00pm with Bro. Shawn Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Groove Cemetery in Ramsey, Norton, VA.
