Wise, Virginia~ Paul McCoy, 70, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at his home in Wise Virginia. Paul honorably served in the United States Army as a Private First Class and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He was a sports enthusiast and lifelong Pittsburg Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise McCoy; parents, Hubert McCoy and Hazel McCoy; brothers, Bob McCoy and Joe McCoy.

Paul is survived by his children, Paul L. McCoy and wife Patricia, Jody McCoy and wife Katrina, Jamie McCoy and wife Joni; grandchildren, Shawn McCoy, Zachary McCoy, Amanda Black and husband Joe, Maggie Mobley, Austin McCoy, Destiny McCoy, Lynleigh Maples; great-grandchildren, Mason Mobley, Graci Mobley, Matilyn Mobley; brothers, Hershal McCoy, Wayne McCoy, Larry McCoy, and William McCoy.

Funeral services for Paul will be held at McCoy's Chapel (6120 Brushy Ridge Rd. Nora, VA) at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 24; Jerry McCoy will be ministering. He will be laid to rest in the McCoy family cemetery. Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave. Coeburn, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
