Pauline Eula Stapleton Addington, age 94, of Norton, Virginia, passed into the heavenly arms of her Savior on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Stapleton and Mary O'Teally Garrett Stapleton; her beloved husband, David Addington Sr.; her son, David "Dave" Addington Jr.; her siblings, Vernas Stapleton, Joanie Stapleton, Wesley Stapleton, and Edith McReynolds; and her son-in-law, Doug Garwood.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bill (Karen) Addington, Gilmer (Kristie) Addington, Tom (Sarah) Addington, and Dinah Garwood; her siblings, William Stapleton and Mefford Salyers; and daughter in law Melody Addington, as well as, a large and loving family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Pauline's life was marked by her devotion to her family, her strength, and her faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family will receive friends at Estes Funeral Home from 11:00-1:00 on Monday, June 8, 2026, with services to follow in the chapel. Graveside services will be conducted at Greenwood Acres Cemetery following.
