Coeburn, VA

Peggy Jane Harvey, 67, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, October 27, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. She was born March 31, 1956, to the late Douglas Lundy and Neoma Dingus. A devoted woman of her faith, she loved to go to church and fellowship and sing. She enjoyed growing and working in her flowers of many varieties and enjoyed her hobby of painting.  A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be missed by all who know her.

Along with her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Harvey; brothers, Robert Shouse, Bill Lundy, Ronnie Dameron, and Roger Lundy; sisters, Shirley Kilgore, and Frances Reeves.

Left to cherish her memories her son, Gordon Lee Harvey and wife, Bree of Castlewood, VA; daughters, Peggy Sue Salyer and husband, Bobby of Lebanon, VA and Kayla Rose Harvey of Coeburn, VA; sister, Janet Sue Reeves and husband Denver of Wise, VA; grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson and husband, David, Haylee Salyer, Landon Harvey, Luc Harvey, Bella Harvey, Tyson Salyer, Dalton Phillips, and Sam Johnson; great-grandchildren, Dustin Jaxton, Colton, and Jaycee; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Estes Funeral Home of Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ricky Branham officiating, with graveside services following in Greenwood Acres Cemetery in Coeburn, VA.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
