Phillip Wesley Hopkins, 33, of Kingsport, passed away at Holston Valley hospital on August 16, 2020. He was a roughneck, working in the oil fields. He loved fishing and cars. He was proud to be an organ donor and through his act of kindness, he has saved at least 4 lives. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; father, Phillip Henson Hopkins; sister, Elicia Akers.

Survivors include his mother, Sharron Hopkins; children, Wesley Tevin Hopkins, Andrian Renee Hopkins; siblings, Chadrick Hopkins, Jessica Hopkins, Zachary Hopkins; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many special friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Estes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm with Daine Hopkins officiating. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Acres at 11 am on Friday, August 21. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
