Ramona Lynne Smith, 58, of Coeburn, VA, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at her residence after an illness. She was born October 28, 1966, to Jimmy and Linda Greene in Detroit, MI.

Ramona was a loving mother, mammy, devoted daughter, and sister, who lived her life caring for others until giving her life for others till the end. She worked as a CNA in the nursing homes where she loved to care for people. Hard working, Caregiver, Devoted, and will be missed by many.

Ramona is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Wayne Greene Sr. and one brother, Jimmy Jr.

Left to cherish her memories is her son, Joshua Lawson; mother, Linda Greene; grandsons, River Elijah Lawson, and Wilder Benjamin Lawson; sister, Pamela Greene (Chris Whitaker); nephew, Logan Richardson; many extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m to 1:00 p.m., Saturday. February 1, 2025, at Estes Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Estes Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Greene Cemetery on Carter Stanley Highway, Coeburn, VA.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
