Coeburn, VA ~ Reva A. Stallard Baker, 89, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 25, 2004 at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Mrs. Baker was a lifelong resident of the Flatwoods Community and a member of Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her interests included genealogy, reading, gardening, canning, quilting and was an avid bird watcher. Her love of life took her to many places with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Roy H. Baker; parents, George and Minerva Bond Stallard.
Survivors include Sons & daughters-in-law, Donnie & Sue Baker, Coeburn, Russell Lynn & Brenda Baker, Blountville, TN, Robert & Connie Baker, Greer, SC, Gerald & Mary Baker, Marion, VA and Jackie Baker, Port Clinton, OH; Daughters and sons-in-law, Betsy & Charles McConnell, Coeburn, Melanie & Hugh Peters, Bristol, TN and Loretta Scarberry, Blountville, TN; Brother, Thurston Stallard, Coeburn; Sister, Monnie Harris, Dungannon; 13 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Granddaughters, 2 Great-Grandsons and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Reva A. Stallard Baker will be held Wednesday after 6:00 P.M. and Funeral services will be at 7:30 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Hayes and Rev. Les Ritchie officiating. Burial will be 11 AM Thursday, October 28, 2004 in the Baker Cemetery in Flatwoods section of Coeburn.
