Coeburn, VA ~ Richard William "Dickie" Lindsay, 67, died Monday, August 9, 2010 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City Tennessee.
He was the son of the late William Thorton Lindsay and Thelma Jones Lindsay; also preceded in death by sister, Carolyn Clayton; brother, David Lindsay and two infant brothers, Jimmy and Jerry.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Mutter Lindsay, Coeburn; daughter, Ann Lawson, Coeburn; son, Richard W. Lindsay II, and wife, Amy, Coeburn; three grandchildren, Lindsay Julanne Lawson, David Luke Lawson and Richard Nicholas Lindsay; brother, Paris 'Mac' Lindsay, and wife, Joanne, Wartburg, TN; two special brothers-in-law, Charles Mutter and Ronnie Mutter, both of Coeburn; several nieces, nephews and a hostof family and friends.

Visitation for Richard William Lindsay will be held on Wednesday August 11, 2010 after 5:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services at 8:00 PMwith Rev. Curtis Bond and Rev. R. L. Crawford officiating. Burial will be at 11 AM Thursday August 12, 2010 at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn, VA.
