Rickey Bell, 63, Chilhowie, VA passed away, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at his residence.

Rickey was born in Norton, VA on May 22, 1959, and was the son of the late James Richard and June Dale (Skeen) Bell.

Ricky was a hardworking, loving father and grandfather who would do anything for his children and grandchildren.
Although he lived in Chilhowie, he loved and always thought of Coeburn as his home.

In addition to his parents, his brother, Jerry Bell preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, Charles Derek Bell of Coeburn, VA; daughter, Candice Bell Sturgill of Coeburn, VA; and his five beautiful granddaughters, Bailee Sexton, Anna Bell, Marissa Bell, Gwendolyn Sturgill, and Hope Witt; brothers, Roger (Deborah) Bell, and Jeffery Bell, both of Coeburn, VA; sisters, Patty Freeman of Sandy Ridge, Pam Culbertson of Castlewood, Debbie Hutchinson of Coeburn, Lisa (Roger) Phillips of Norton, and Tina (Doug) Neal of Bristol, VA, along with many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be scheduled for a later date.
