Chicago, IL ~ Robert Lindsay "Bobby" Barrowman, 71, died Saturday, July 21, 2001 at EHS Trinity Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Barrowman was a retired crane opereator of Illinois Slag & Ballast Co.. Former resident of Banner, Va. and former employee of Three Way Shell Service Station, Addington Chevrolet and had worked in the coal industry in Virginia.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Allie Brickey Barowman; 4 brothers, William Barrowman, Alex Barrowman, Charlie Barrowman and Jimmy Barrowman; 3 sisters, Edith Meade, Beulah Sword and Hazel Lawson.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Lee Jessee Barrowman; 3 daughters, Mrs. Rick (Brenda) Corman and Sarah Barrowman both of Chicago, IL and Mrs. Terry (Patrica) Sebek of Glenwood, IL; 5 sisters, June Hicks, Banner, VA, Maxie Jones, Hammond, IN, Nina Kilgore, Coeburn, Alma Lawson, Sandy Ridge, VA and Kathleen Slusher, Belle, WV; 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and several nephews.

Funeral services for Robert Lindsay Barrowman will be held Friday, July 27, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Hammacker officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood.Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home Chapel on Friday from 10 AM till funeral time.
