Coeburn, VA ~ Robert Claude Bond, 74, died Sunday, August 13, 2000 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Mr. Bond was a retired coal miner lifelong resident of Wise County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Bond, and his mother, Hannah S. Lawson, 3 brothers, Wallace Bond, James Bond & Maynard Bond.
Survivors include his wife Ozella Mitchell Bond, a foster son, Eddie Parker of Florida, a stepson, Gary Mitchell, St. Paul; 4 sisters, Maxie Davis, Hazel Sartin, Lillian Vaughn & Mary Palmer all of Coeburn, VA.
Funeral services for Robert Claude Bond, will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at 2:00 A.M. at Estes Funeral Home. Rev. Leon Lawson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery in Coeburn. Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Monday from after 6:00 P.M.
