Robert Franklin Salyers, 65, of Coeburn, VA, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Rob was a very special brother, and will be missed so much, as he always took great care of his sisters.

Rob lived to enjoy life through his kindness, generosity and a great sense of humor. He was a Coal-Miner by profession and often found joy in fishing and hunting with his lifetime buddies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Shirley Salyers, and a daughter, Robin  Plaster all of Coeburn, VA.

Robert is survived by his two sisters, Phyllis Hall and Rhonda Ringley (Jeff), all of Coeburn, VA; his companion, Donna Adams and her daughters, Kelly, and Kaylee; a very precious granddaughter, Ryder, as she was the light of his life; three nieces and several other family members. Rob had a very dear friend, Duke Burke, that he thought highly of. Duke was always there for him with support and care in his time of need.

The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 1:00 pm. at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, VA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, with Jason Porter officiating. Committal services will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Coeburn, VA.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
