Coeburn, VA ~ Roby Olan Meade, 70 died Friday, December 4, 2009 at Mountain View Medical Center in Norton Virginia.
He was the son of the late Earnest Rolfe and late Illa Orine Meade; also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Doward and Roger Meade.
Survivors include his wife,Alice Marie Meade; 2 Daughters, Brenda M. Cheeks, Hickory, NC, Lisa Lee, and husband, Tony, all of Coeburn; 2 Sons, Barry Meade, and wife, Rita Coeburn, VA and Mark A. Meade , Warrenton, VA;1 Sister, Elvera Powers, Wise, VA; 4 Brothers, Dee Meade, Weber City, Bobby Joe Meade, andWillie Gene Meade Sr., both of St. Paul, VA, and Doug R. Meade, Aurora, IL, 2 Step-Son, Gregory Hall and Stacey Robinette; 13 grandchildren, Kristin Bell, Summer Lee, Andrew Bell, D.J. Lawson, Billie Lawson, Tiny Lawson, Becky Lawson, Barry A. Meade, Brandon Meade, Bryan Meade, Donovan Meade, Christopher Meade and Allicia Meade; 9 great grandchildren; special niece, Frances Meade and Several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Roby Olan Meade will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2009 after 6:00 P.M. at Estes Funeral Home Chapel and Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM with Rev. R. L. Crawford and Rev. Charlie Couch officiating. Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Monday December 7, 2009 at Little Tom Cemetery. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave., Coeburn, VA.
