Roger Wayne Gibson, 53, passed away on June 13, 2020 at his home in Coeburn, VA. Roger loved to hunt, fish, and take walks in the woods. He was a long time over-the-road truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Gibson; brother, Melvin Leon Gibson; brother-in-law, Frank Adkins; nephew, Ricky Irvin Cole II; niece, Catina Louise Adkins.

Survivors include, wife, Sandra Lynn Gibson, of the home; children, Natasha Sexton and husband Jessy (Dungannon, VA), Roger Wayne Gibson Jr. and wife Brittany (Jacksonville, FL), Joseph Andrew Gibson and wife Brittany (Coeburn), Joshua Alex Gibson (Coeburn), Donovan Patrick Gibson (Fort Wayne, IN), Kelly Abigail Gibson (Coeburn), Patton Cole Gibson (Coeburn); step-children, Joshua Ryan Fraley and wife Misty, Justin Cody Fraley and Tara; 13 grandchildren; Mother, Mary Hall Gibson; sisters, Barbara Ann Adkins, Patricia Louise Cole and husband Ricky.

The Gibson family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Estes Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Lawson officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:30 to go in procession to Adkins Cemetery on Dale Ridge Rd.-Coeburn, Virginia.
