Roger Dale Hyatt, 64, of Coeburn, VA gained his angel wings on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA.

Roger was a soldier in the US Army and was a proud member of the 101st Airborne Division.  He was a retired timber cutter, which he loved. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent most of his time with his dogs on the riverbank.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother Lois Deel.

Those who are left to honor and celebrate his life are his wife, Roberta Hyatt; daughters, Amanda Gibson and husband David, and Pennie Hyatt; sons, Christopher Hyatt and Zachary Hyatt; granddaughters, Alexis, Hannah and Alyssa; stepfather, Bruce Deel; brothers, Raymond Deel (Sherry), Ronald Deel (Angie), Rodney Deel (Melanie); several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many special friends.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at a later date
