Roger Allen Lundy, Sr., 63, of Coeburn passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at his home. Roger was a lifelong resident of Wise County, VA. He enjoyed the simple things in life, quiet country living, being surrounded by family and friends, BBQ's, and a good cold beer while enjoying some music. He was there anytime you needed him and never had a bad word for people. He was a whiz for fixing stuff. Roger was preceded in death by his father; Douglas Bernard Lundy, mother; Neoma Dingus; brothers, Robert Shouse, Bill Lundy, Ronnie Damron; sisters, Shirley Kilgore, Francis Reeves.

Roger is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Adkins Lundy; children, Roger Allen Lundy, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Randy Jo Lundy, Freddie Ray Lundy and wife Tonya, Daniel Lee Lundy, Douglas James Lundy, Neoma Love and husband Joshua, Heather Swartz, Phyllisha Lundy; sisters, Janet Reeves and husband Denver, Peggy Harvey; 20 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family he acquired through the years.

The Lundy family will receive friends at Estes Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Donnie Pickett officiating. Procession will follow to Dingus Cemetery on Pine Camp Rd., Coeburn, for the committal.
