Rose Helen Flanary Meade, 87, went to be with the Lord September 4, 2022. She was born November 1, 1934, to the late Richard and Elsie May Flanary. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family, bluegrass music, and she was a blue ribbon winning flat footer. She especially enjoyed hearing all the latest updates of her many nieces and nephews. After visiting with her, she would always say to them "I Love You and All Your family."

Along with her parents, Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Carless Meade and an infant brother.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and her number one best friend Karen Collins.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Greenwood Acres in Coeburn, VA, with Brother R.L. Crawford officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:45 p.m. to proceed to the cemetery.
